FOX Chicago's Patrick Elwood and "Good Day Chicago" stopped by Boomers Stadium Thursday to help Coop and the Schaumburg Boomers get the word out about the club's Job Fair on Saturday, March 10 at 9 a.m. at the ballpark!
The Boomers were featured LIVE during both the 8 o'clock and 9 o'clock hours of FOX's morning show and Coop the Boomer was up to his usual antics on Thursday, at home in front of the camera as Elwood interviewed Boomers President/GM Andy Viano about the upcoming job fair. "We have a couple hundred folks to hire, from ushers to ticket takers to the folks cooking the hot dogs and those serving it up to you," said Viano. "All our game day employee positions for folks in the onfield contests, outside greeting the guests when they get to the park. Everybody is part of the show.”
The first opportunity to be a part of the show as a spectator will be Opening Day at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 25. With tickets starting at just $7, Boomers Baseball is the ideal destination for families of all sizes with a fun, friendly atmosphere wrapped into a night of America's favorite pasttime.
